Capcom’s classic cypher-slinging ninja gets a much deserved revival for next-gen in this souped-up “exploration-based” re-imagining of the late-80′s arcade game.
The first FINAL FANTASY XIII was a disaster, but the second one was a major improvement and really enjoyable. But can Lightning strike twice?
It’s time to find out.
Proteus is one of the few games I picked up during my Playstation Network winter sale binge. Developed by Ed Key and David Kanaga this artistic odyssey leaves the player, or viewer I should say, with more questions than answers. With a minimalistic art style sprinkled with a musical undercurrent, this journey makes you want to believe it has more to offer.
It’s been 8 months since Naughty Dog released what many consider the best gaming experience of 2013. Indeed, The Last of Us was an almost perfect narrative package that left little room for expansion. Perhaps this is why Left Behind, the only planned piece of singleplayer DLC for the game, focused on fleshing out Ellie’s backstory as well as filling in a minor plot point from the original campaign.
Goichi “Suda51″ Suda (director of No More Heroes and Killer 7) has been used as sort-of a brand name for games a lot recently. With titles like No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle, Lollipop Chainsaw, Killer is Dead and Shadows of the Damned sporting his name in the directorial seat for marketing only for us to find out later, often close to release, that he did in fact not direct the game but had a smaller role on it. Could the same be the case for SHORT PEACE?
I’m no expert by any means, but here’s franchises I saw represented in the trailer. JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, Dragonball Z, Toriko, One Piece, SaintSeiya, Nisekoi, To Love-Ru, Hunter X Hunter, Bleach, Kuroko’s Basketball, Naruto, D. Gray-man and that’s probably not a third of all the franchises represented.
Deception IV: Blood Ties, the fifth game in Tecmo’s Deception series, will be releasing March 28th in Europe and March 25th in North America on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita.
We’ve known it for months now and SEGA finally made an official announcement of Alien: Isolation along with the first details on the game.
Andrew House of Sony Computer Entertainment America announced today at CES that PlayStation Now will be going into beta later this month and have a full launch this summer.
It is with tears welling that I must inform you that Sony will be purging the servers of some of the PS3′s popular games.
I need to get my stabby stabby trappy trappy on!
With Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, the latest installment of the mega-popular Assassin’s Creed franchise, Ubisoft redeemed themselves in the eyes of gamers and critics alike for the disappointment that many felt with Assassin’s Creed III. As such, Freedom Cry, the first piece of singleplayer DLC for Black Flag, had a lot to live up to. You assume the role of Adéwalé, the Jackdaw’s former quartermaster, 15 years after the events of Black Flag. Now working for the Assassins Adéwalé finds himself washed ashore and into an ongoing struggle for independence. Intriguing concept, but does Adéwalé’s quest for liberation deliver the same thrills as Kenway’s high seas adventure?
A brand new trailer shows off Kingdom Hearts II and Birth by Sleep in HD.
