Activision is putting out a new game based on our favourite “Paul Walker and Vin Diesel do things with cars” franchise. Fast & Furious: Showdown is a console title that we’ve heard about for a little while now, but we just got confirmation on a 3DS version that the ESRB have some details on.
“Fast & Furious: Showdown
Platform: Nintendo 3DS
Rating Category: Teen
Content Descriptors: Mild Language, Violence
Rating Summary: This is an action-racing game based on the Fast & Furious movie franchise. Players perform heists from the movies’ plots and engage in various missions, which sometimes involve avoiding/contending with police vehicles. Other missions feature partnered play, in which one character drives while the other shoots at enemy cars: characters are depicted shooting machine guns, pulse rifles, and grenade launchers while leaning out of car windows. Collisions, explosions, and realistic gunfire highlight the frenetic action. The word ‘a*s’ can be heard in the dialogue; a handful of song lyrics contain suggestive material (e.g., “And every night I check a new position off the sex list”).”
Pulse rifles in a F&F game, that’s quite dope bro. Also, who doesn’t check new positions off the sex list every night? Right guys? Right? …I wonder if this will be as good as Wheelman.
